The Digital Intermediate (DI) course introduces students to the creative and technical processes that shape a film’s final visual identity. From colour theory, correction, and grading to conforming, colour management, and platform-specific delivery, students learn how images are refined for cinema, television, and streaming. Through guided colour-grading exercises using specialised tools and established DI workflows, students build the skills required to collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and editors. The course builds a strong foundation for entry-level roles in colour finishing, DI assistance, and on-set imaging.
